that picture has made me laugh! - It took me ages to work out she was sleeping on a white fluffy cushion!

My two sleep outside in a kennel at night but share a basket.

Have to admit my springer sleeps at bottom of bed all night but he is very quiet and doesn't move. One of our labs comes up for a half an hour cuddle before doing back to sleep downstairs. However, she snores for England and puts her head on the pillow so it is rather disruptive!

My patterdale x whippet sleeps in the bed on my side. OH despairs and says he has to make appointments with the dog if he wants me all to himself. Quite sad really!!

HA HA we had to buy a baby gate and put her the other side when my oh wants his lo!!!!! she sits and cries!! but better than her putting her head under the quilt to see what we are doing!! or trotting in and licking his bum!! classic lol

Fraid so - mine sleeps on my bed unless me and my beloved are sleeping together. e tend to sleep apart - both sleep better that way, but have a night once a week or so when we sleep together - then the dog sulks on her own bed under the radiator...

There's something innately comfortable about the solidity of a dog-presence on the bed. I'll miss it when she goes.

IF mine get upstairs, then yes they do and we have to sleep around them. There is no way a mastiff will move if it doesnt want tooo!!! I dont let mine upstairs normally though due to worries re cruciate damage. Just dont want the big vet bill!!!
