I may just be being silly but ever since the clipping incident(recent post - Am i lucky to get away with a bruise?) with my boy he seems to be in a really bad mood and it seems aimed at me?

Do any of your horses get into moods that last longer than a day or two or am i going mad?

I think you are right.
My mare is the sweetest thing to be around, ride and do things with, but there are a few days once every eight weeks or so when she totally changes, for instance i rode her the other day and I could barely control her, now that's just so out of character for Daisy, usually it takes all i have got in me to get her going...

Baron does get days when he prefers to be left alone with his hay and days when he likes a fuss but his overall temprement doenst really change. Hes always really laid back.

However he does off days when being ridden when he just cant be bothered and is being a bit lazy and doesnt seem to want to listen. But I suppose we all have our off days/weeks so horses must aswell.

My horse has had a very 'down' few weeks whilst he was growing his coat and feeling tired.
He's definitely perked up now though and is causing mischief again, which is a good thing.

P has been really off colour - being arsey with the geldings and pulling faces at me - has taken me aback a bit as she is usually very sweet and non marish. I gave her almost a week off to get over herself and she seems to be happier now
