Dobby update/photo spam

Just because he's a sweetie. Fizz is coming round much quicker now he's big enough to play rough with :rolleyes3:

He's now 14 1/2 weeks and started puppy school, it appears I'm streaks ahead of the other owners in a lot of aspects with him although that mostly came from wanting to tire him out and stop him beating Fizz up rather than wanting to teach him lots early on. He's showing a lot more interest and aptitude than Fizz ever did so obedience might be something I carry on with him (Fizz much prefers all things fast and has started agility and restarts flyball in February).

He's already got fetch down and he loves a frisbee as much as a ball :biggrin3: which will be a help for future flyball plans :wink3:and his recall is proving good so far although we're yet to test it with proper distractions.

I'm not sure if I've posted some of these before but who doesn't love puppy photos even when they are repeats :tongue3:

It's badly framed but I love this one!

Thats it, I NEED another one! Hes gorgeous and your girl is so dainty and delicate. Mine are big bruisers! I found the same with Floydy at puppy classes as well. By the time we went he knew it all already.

That shower pic is brilliant! Floyd had fun at the yard today and ended up filthy so he had to have a bath. He stood there the whole time looking thoroughly wretched and like his life was over :lol:

I’ve never heard Fizz called delicate :lol: she’s a big girl and definitely a bruiser (her favourite game is beating up her boxer best mate) although she’s lost a little weight recently as she’d got a little too chunky

It didn’t last long (that was week 1), I spent week 2 trying to keep him from wrestling with the Boston terrier he’s decided is his best mate ever every time we stopped for the trainer to talk something through :lol:

Oh he is gorgeous Annette, the photo of him and Fizz in the matching tankies is wonderful , every time i see one of these dogs on here i want one, if i didn't have so many cats i would go for it, reckon it could be a good match for my Weim but i have visions of them being chased all over the fields and if i'm honest my new Weim is not as polite with the cats as the last one so probably not a good idea to add a scent hound to their lives!

Shady mine are totally fine with the cat. The cat is in charge and the whippets do as he say. They do all cuddle up together though and the cat always greets the dogs when we get home which makes me think he does like them deep down!

Annette I think shes delicate compared to mine. She has that lovely little whippety face, Dylans got a bit of a block head :lol:

and enormous backside, very J-Lo esque!

Floyd is a bit more refined, but they are both still 21/22" and chunky little things

Saying that its the type I go for and I love the working bred brains. I would quite like a little dainty bitch next time though.

Leo -I’m with you, both mine are working bred I much prefer them in terms of being a bit more sturdy and the brains, they both really enjoy having a job and seem much more focused on me than the show bred whippets my friends have.
