What is the best way to tackle the docks I have growing in my paddocks.

The paddocks in question are currently being rested as they are my winter ones but I have now noticed quite a few docks popping up.
Can anyone recommend an animal safe spray to take care of them?

getting a goat/sheep is not an option

Graze on (I think) or DOckstar are the two we have used, and both can be put in a backpack sprayer and sprayed by hand.

This is exactly the time to do it, when the docks are visible above the ground, but young and growing rapidly.

Spraying does make a very visible difference if done at the right time, we have been in our place 6 years and spray every year. We now have only a tiny amount compared to when we moved in.

Good luck.

Get them done now before they flower as once flowering they are terrible to kill.

For random plants we take the wheel barrow, a very sharp spade and a pot of strong weedkiller and a paint brush.

Use the spade to chop the dock as close to the ground as possible, put in wheel barrow! Then paint the remains with the weedkiller.
