Dodson and Horrell Performance Concentrate?

Anyone use/used it?? Opinions please.

Also any other reccommendations for a feed that will give lots of energy?

Haven't used it but D&H recommended that I poss changed from their comp mix to performance concentrate as my boy maintains his weight - so I wouldn't need to feed as much.

The other option they gave me was Staypower Museli which I decided to try instead as we already feed that at the yard.

I used it last winter. It was effective enough.....but blew my normally-very-sane horse's mind tbh. Not that I minded! I have changed onto Simple Systems food this year, as my mare is 15 and I was concerned that the performance concentrate perhaps wouldnt contain the nutrients for the 'older horse'.

If your horse is quiet enough I would say it was worth a try, but if not, it could be dangerous!!!

My mare has the red bag grass nuts from SS which seem to work well enough. She is also hunting fit, so she has plenty of energy anyway.
