yes i put my lad on it in november when he was still scratching.
vet thought it might be a food allergy so put him on this stuff and he has stopped scratching entirely.
good for him now, but im going to have to feed alot of it when he comes back into work
I rang them yesterday because my horse had lots of lumps all over her body in January and was very sensitive to the touch. They were really helpful although they don't think it would benefit my horse because we don't know what caused the lumps and I want to get a bit of weight off her. Apparently It's for horses who have shown allergic reactions to feeds.
yep my pony has shown sweetitch like symptoms for many years and ive had every single sweetitch product on him over that time. However it appeared to be sweetitch because the scratching stopped in october which was round the time i stopped feeding him (he doesnt work over winter and realy doenst need more weight). this year was the first year ive fed him through winter and he was still scratching late november so i got the vet out. she said it shouldnt have been sweetitch by then and told me to change his feed to a feed without barley in it and sensative was the first i came accross.
has realy helped him, he now has 6 inches of mane and his coat is absolutely lovely and very shiney
Hi, my mare has a cereal intolerance and she came out in lumps when I put her on a feed which gave a little more umph, but it was too much for her which resulted in the lumps. I then put her on this Equine Sensitive and the lumps disappeared. They have a minty smell and my horse loves them, we are now on our 3rd bag. She has only been on them for about 3 weeks, so I cant really tell you anything else, but it should definately help her with the intolerance.
Hi, My horse came up in terrible lumps, turned out could be sensitive to barley. I put him on Allen and Page calm and condition, it doesn't contain barley, after a few days started to improve, after a couple of weeks he's better. I don't feed as much as they suggest as he is in good condition. Warning tho, must soak in 2 or 3 times as much water!!
zora, barley is what my horse is allergic to as well. I did look at the allen and Page one, but cant be doing with the whole soaking malarky. so dodson and horrells cubes turned out to be the better option.
