Dodson&Horrell safe and sound? Any good?

I think it is one of the better ones, and in fact its marketed as a complete feed rather than a chaff...my two both love it but have had to stop feeding it to one as the alfalfa makes her very itchy.

However, in order to get the full whack of vits and mins you do need to feed quite a volume which I couldn't do as mine are both chubby natives so I ended up supplementing their meagre rations anyway.

Mine does better on safe and sound than happy hoof, mollichaff calmer or spillers cool fibre. He seems to have more energy but doesn't put on weight and isn't too spooky. I have to add a mug of veteran lite balancer though.

I have mine on safe and sound, half scoop speedi beet, and a small amount of build up mix. She's not fat, but not slender. I have spoken to several other feed companies for advice but a lot try to push me down the 'balancer' route. She is also supplemented with a scoop of pink powder and a scoop of sea weed. (Supplements are the scoops included not the huge normal feed scoops)

I have mine on safe and sound, half a scoop of speedibeet with a small amount of build up mix. I've rang around so many different feed companies and I'm so baffled at the minute as to what feed I should use etc. I'm so confused :( I don't want to over feed or under feed either.
