local level probably not, depends on the stitching, if its black leather with black stitching no it should be ok.
Bright white stitching on a black leather yes!
Should really be a broad flat noseband for welshies!
mare and fillies white halter. colts, gelding and stallion in bridle. my in hand bridle has small white stitching on the nose band and a brass brow band
I think it would be ok, but I was thinking about showing my Sec B mare locally & wondered if I should show her in a plain white halter? Both my in hand bridles have fancy stitching on the noseband. Does anyone know the rules?
Depends if it's a mare, stallion or gelding we're talking about and what section of Welsh! Mares of all types are usually shown in white rope or webbing halters, geldings in in-hand bridles (plain and workmanlike with a broad noseband, no fancy stitching really) and stallions in an in-hand bridle with stallion bit, possibly brass clencher detail and often a surcingle and side reins too.
