I'd say grass glands too. One of our boys gets them when the grass flushes through strongly. Makes him look like a hamster for a day or so. Something to do with extra salivation with all that extra chewing.

The slight runny nose after hard work is normal too. I think your horse is fine - I noticed a couple of mine have grass glands at the moment too...they seem to come and go without rhyme nor reason.

Yep agree with the others that it is grass glands - sure sign on my lami pony that the grass has become richer on her tiny patch of bare grass and she is getting too much and off the grass she comes!
