We have just sold our horsebox and got an Ifor Williams 510 instead. My 17hh WB travelled brilliantly, usually in the lorry he would paw the floor, sweat up badly and be a complete pain in the **** generally. He would also break free when tied up outside. He did not sweat up at all and stood patiently both in the trailer and outside at the show. We travelled two in the trailer the same as we would in the lorry. I think he has more room in the trailer than the lorry as the lorry was only 7ft 6 wide and even travelling him herringbone he still seemed cramped in. Just wondered if anyone else has a horse that prefers a trailer?

Yes my 17hh boy has always arrived a ball of sweat in a lorry, with a wild eye of terror, yet in a trailer is totally dry and relaxed I put it down to him looking out the window and the back top doors are open so he can see too and its cooler

Yes, my 17'2 warmblood was a bad loader on lorries. Since I bought a Richardson supreme with extra room and plenty of light and ventilation he practically loads himself. Longest he has been in there was 7 hours and he strolled off fresh as a daisy. I make sure i always drive carefully when he is on board ... but that was the same with lorries.
