Does anybody know if this is just a rumour?8 horses supposedly stolen, South Yorks??

I only ask as the Stolen Horse Database is down, and the email contact I've got for South Yorks Police Horsewatch is undeliverable. Tried all the other 'Stolen' sites, no confirmation of this so does anybody know for sure please? I hate it when gossips and rumour mongers start this kind of hysteria, (via Facebook today)...but if there is any truth in it then obviously it needs publicising...I always check these rumours out myself, I don't believe anything on FB, wish more people would double check the facts before panicking people on there

I'm thinking this rumour has come from those poor 6 stolen recently from a nearby area in Notts, and isn't a separate organised horse theft..let's hope so anyway

Please if you are in the area phone South Yorks Police--as far as I know Joanne Kennedy is Horsewatch contact but their website search does not even bring Horsewatch up

Thanks Cuffey..I have tried to speak with Joanne Kennedy at South Yorks Police, had to leave messages. It's this contacts' email that is unobtainable too..If I get any confirmation in this rumour at all I will post asap.Leaning towards it being just a Facebook rumour, fingers crossed.Really hoping all stolen horses get reunited with their owners asap, so heartbreaking Bumping up my security this weekend.
