Does anyone bath at this time of year?

If horse is rugged but still out,will come in in a week or so.Just wondering as its nice during day here but dropped to 2 yesterday eve and cold.

I'd really like to bath my boy, as he seems to think that it's a good idea too wee/poo everywhere in his box and then lie in it, lovely! So consiquently, we have some rather interesting yellow/brown patches!

i would bath elz if we were going to a show - i use warm water, and then make sure she's nice and rugged up to the eyeballs with a wicking rug on first, and take her for a very brisk walk! we do this after clipping too

We still bathing because still showing, although last one 2moz(hurrah!!) just use lots of warm water keep it quick as poss and rug up afterwards and they should be fine

Not planning on doing my lot.I'm probably a bit too cautious with my lot,if bathed would keep them in as its cold at night here,put the heating on cold! .Just wondered what general view on this was.

my mare is a silly white colour so bathing is necessary! although baby wipes do a good job in tackleing light stains/marks.

Irrespective of the time of year, I would rather hot towel in this weather!

If I don't bath mine they go really greasy and they smell of poo so I bath all the time.

i washed a shetland tail today does that count he is grey and it was black .did not thank me though dragged it through the puddles on the way home

I wash my pony's tail every week and her mane every 3 weeks or so but haven't given her a full bath for a couple of weeks now as I ony have cold water.
