nope, waste of money; you may as well give them a carrot everyday instead!

they do get a can of guiness with their tea on christmas day though.

havent bought calander no but once got merl a huge great big stocking bag it was nearly as big as him...and had it filled with bits like a likit, numnahs, brushing bts, rugs, treats etc just as I was flush at that time and wanted to really spoil him loads, but he always got anything he needed anyway...
I was so excited to be able to give him this present and had a lovely piccie of him looking into it with ears forward that to this day makes me smile lots and lots

he was my best friend - going to be strange this year though without him around.

Thats a really nice idea, It would be great if tack shops actually sold a stocking filled with gifts that was filled to to the value of what you paid in your horses colour so was a surpise for both of you.
Maybe ill give my tack shop some cash and a stocking and ask them to do it lol
I know you could just buy carrots but I think the novelty of it is fun.

Besides I generally have about 8 horses of my own and maybe 6 Boarders, if I got one a calender they'd all want one, and anyway, they'd get awful soggy hung on the fence!

I know a lot of people that do though, and the horses get stockings hung up on Christmas Eve
