I do I sponser a really cheeky donkey called 'Timothy' who lives at the Donkey Sanctuary...I sadly can't commit to owing a horse or other equine atm so this is the next best thing for me.
 
I sponsor through Redwings. My first sponsor horse was an ex-police horse who used to work for our local force but was unfortunately PTS due to colic. My sponsorship was transfered to a lovely Shire which suits me because I love the breed - I have my own pony but choose to sponsor rather than buying Xmas cards :).

I sponsor horses at Prince Fluffy Kareem, I'm currently sponsoring the lovely fleabitten grey mare Freckles for a week with them, and I try to sponsor a different horse a month ( although I'd love to sponsor them all)

The team out there are amazing - I'm sure more people know of them but if not https://www.facebook.com/princefluffykareem shows you what they do in Cairo.
 
Yep I sponsor a gorgeous welshie pony called 'Digit' with Bransby Horses. Burned intentionally in a stable fire- so sad.
 
Yup, Finnegan at Redwings :)

I sponsored Welbeck before that but he was sadly PTS a few years ago.

I almost sponsored Timonthy for my Mum - I wish I had, when we were talking about it over dinner with my Grandma there who misheard 'Little Vijay' as something else entirely ... Which is the name of the donkey we actually sponsor! :D
