And are they supposed to be divorced from your crotch or are they just not that well designed for tall people?

I am a smidge under 5'10" and I carry my height pretty evenly between torso and legs. The jods I have bought are pretty roomy round the waist but they won't stay there as I think the jods are too short!

I always used plus rider before, and although the stitching came freely undone on her jods, I've never had a problem with length or fit because she always took exact measurements, not just dress size.

I am a bit gutted and fear I may never wear jods again.

i bought some jobs from robinson, they was ment to be "reg" but i think i could get my legs in there atleast twice in length!
also found that there around 2 sizes too big!

If you read the FF website, they say that the average woman is 5'4-5'7, and their clothes are designed around that.

Not good for me at 5'3 either

(Having said that, I haven't bought any of their clothes, just going on what's on the site)

I have treid on the other pair which are a different make and they are not as bad. The material is more clingy which helps them stay up.

I didn't read about the average woman bit on her website

I am gutted and I want to lobby for her to make jods for taller women, given that a lot of her customers will be buying from her because they are bigger than average in more ways than just dress size!

Sadly I cannot buy normal jods as they only tend to go upto size 14, and I am not a size 14 and like my jods to be nice and roomy for those longer hacks especially. I did wear musto jods for a while, but found they wore out too quickly and also shrunk in the wash.

You might laugh, catdragon, but 4 or 5 years ago I was practically living in my shocking pink jods. They showed off every lump and bump, but I was 20 and didn't really have many, despite not being skinny! I think they seemed a good idea at the time, but now they lie hidden away at the back of my wardrobe, to forever gather dust! I am glad I saw sense!

I did this with some old beige ones that were too good to chuck, but had got black tack marks on them etc...they are now a lovely denim blue

I use Equetech jods. I am a size 24 in FF, and the 38" Equetech jods fit fine and are a bit long on me (5 foot 7). Watch out for the denim ones though, they are not as big as the normal jods.
