Hehe! I love scabs in general! I was talking to someone on the yard the other day and I started picking a scab off her horse without thinking about it

she didn't mind though, fortunately

yep i'm the same, lol very strange but yeh!! but i'm always sure just to pick off the ones that are ready to come of ( fully healed underneath) makes the legs look so much cleaner. we use nappy rash cream on bex's legs or sudacream it get all gunged up does this happen to u??

No I would never dream of picking off mud fever scabs as it is too painful for the horse. I do however, smother the scabs in Protocon, leave for at least 20 mins and then very gently roll the softened scabs off.
