not bring his willy out to pee?? vet was out today and gave him sedative to relax him and bring it out so she could look at it, not a chance! he was keeping it to himself! in the 2 years i have owned him i have seen it once! the vet called him a weird horse!!!!! he just a reserved boy! he dont let it out when mare in season near him, is he alone? he never gets it out!

yes!! mine doesn't either, never thought anything of it...i loan him for 2 yrs from another woman on my yard and she's had him for around 12 yrs and said she's never seen it!!! its funny though as he's known for his rigginess behaviour and is very difficult around mares in season (after watching him jump a field 3 times in a row) and a being a lathered mess everytime another horse 'sets him off on one' he's still a no show'r!! it will be interesting to hear what ur vet says!!

need to watch that. urune is very corrosive and he could have a build up of smegma. this has been know to inhit the penis relaxing down. aslo, if he is peeing while retaining his penis he could be causing all manor of problems up there. if he will allow it, try cleaning the area in the sheath, use a very mild shampoo and a sponge. its not a pleasent job but get the sponge well inside and gently clense the area. what comes out on sponge will speak for itself. good luck & be safe.

one reason why ive always preferred mares!!! but i have watched him wee closly (im one of these that stand with a bucket to catch and have a perfectly white bed!) and the very tip is out a tiny bit so he's definately not weeing in himself but may try ask his owner to give it a good clean out!!

Mine rarely gets his out whilst peeing - very odd. He has a clean penis and no problems at all he just doesn't like getting it out when peeing around other horses?!! I think he is shy

well vet cleaned mine out n said there was a bit of smegma build up nothing unusal! she joked he might be gay! unlikly, he NEVER gets it out! i think hes a gentleman, only gets it out in private. no problems with his willy, so guess its just way he is

His lordship drops his out to wee, if he drops it out other times when I'm grooming we normally have a tug of war, him trying to retract it and me trying to pull it to stay out while I clean it, he had an infection once through not cleaning and ended up with antibiotics, so I try to clean it whenever I get the chance.

haha my old share horse and his two chums always had theirs out too! One would get his out then the other two would feel the need to join in with getting theirs out!!
