Does anyone else's horse foam with hay?

Samba has always done this when eating hay.

Does any one else's horse do it, every one on the yard thinks she's a weirdo!

She is ultra sensible, she wont choke with all that saliva and it will help buffering when it all arrives in that rugby ball we call the stomach

Have you checked inside his mouth and under his tongue for lesions

Mine don't, but I used to look after a horse that did this big time. But he was a bit of a wierdo to be honest - he used to stand sucking his tongue over the door, so quite often ended up just standing in his stable dribbling lol
