As title really.

I'd like to try mine on barley rings this winter instead of Speedibeet. Does anyone feed this on its own? They contain barley, linseed, a few added minerals/vitamins and biotin.

Would be good to hear other people's experiences - I have two TBs - one skinny and one fatty.

Never heard of them tbh... barley... hmmmmmmmmmmm. It's a grain so would avoid if a good-doer I guess.

Yes but only to a youngster who needed condition and a bit of extra weight in the winter. He had ad lib forage at the same time but wouldn't eat sugarbeet and was a poor doer, which he grew out of. But he never found them very palatable whatever we put with them. Picky pony. Can you see if he likes them first as a lot of my friends said horses didn't find them very edible? (and its a pain if you are stuck with a bag of the stuff.)

Fed it to a welsh cob stallion we had, wanted to put condition on for the showing season. Big mistake as we nearly lost him to colic, I would never feed barley rings again. Mind you I didnt want to feed them in the first place, but my ex husbund new best ........ hence he is EX!!
