My new horse currently has per feed (2 a day) 1 scoop of alfa a oil and 3/4 scoop of baileys economy mix (this is what his previous owners fed him and I don't want to change anything until he is properly settled), but I would quite like to continue with the Alfa a oil but use dengie fibremix easy instead of the baileys mix - would this be a balanced diet (with hay and grass!) and any ideas what proportions should I feed? By the way he is a 16.3 middleweight 8yr old gelding who holds his weight reasonably well and is in light work and is out 6-7hrs a day.
