Does anyone feed Pink Powder as a Balancer?!

yep, it a concentrate supplement with a probiotic.

It's also a very cheap way of feeding a supplement - although expensive by weight, you feed so little it works out cheaply.

In fact, I must go and buy another tub in a min.......

NAF has a specific haylage balancer to stop the acids and sugars from going to hyper horses heads. tried it on my little NF and the sensitive sod comes out in lumps! they went quickly and didnt cause much discomfort.
used the same pot on my Welsh D and no reaction happened so must just be the little ones sensitive skin bless her XD

Yes. Have had good results using pink powder as a balancer for my 29 yo retired broodmare. It works out more cost effective, and just as good (imho) as the pelleted feed balancers out there.

Like Kallibear, I must go out and get a new tub...

EMW-UK sre supported by NAF for which we are always very grateful BUT long before that happened this charity have always promoted Pink Powder. It works really well and is especially beneficial for those with malnutrition or gut imbalances. Everything that comes in, horse or pony immediately goes on Pink Powder. Don't forge the excellent Immuforte by NAF though if you need a fast boost to the immune system and gut microflora, a 10 day course that again can turn around those with scour etc and suitable for foals.
