Hello. Does anyone feed Simple System feeds and if so, what do you feed? They offer direct delivery and I would like to place an order ASAP as we are self-isolating at home (luckily, with the horses here). I have x2 16.2 hunter types and a welsh companion pony. Thank you.

I've use simple systems for my TB for at least 5/6 years now. When I first changed the feed I saw a marked improvement in his behaviour (he was much calmer). He also looks great on it; shiny coat, good, strong hooves (and is barefoot). I use their Simply Complete and Timothy chop all year round and add their linseed and blue bag grass nuts in winter.

I use them. Purely as they are free from the rubbish that graces the bags of 90% of most horse feeds that are readily available. My guy is an ems laminitic and he gets the Lucie stalks, Lucie fibre nuts and Metaslim.

I do, but mine doesn't react to alfalfa. If you order a balancer, your postage is free - I didn't find that obvious from the site (and I've ordered a number of times!) so thought I'd point it out!

Have recently switched out my chaff to Top Spec Top Chop Alfalfa, and the grass nuts to just whatever I can get locally, as it's a lot cheaper to buy locally if I'm not ordering the balancer to make the postage free!. Unfortunately, starting to feed SS coincided with me doing a whole lot less work so I'm not sure how well it's affected his energy peaks and spookiness, but I'm happier that he is on reduced sugar, and much prefer he takes all night to eat his feed now, rather than chugging it down in seconds. Can also feed him at any time, even before riding, as it's all forage no grains.

Thank you, all. I have ordered Timothy chop, Blue grass pellets, Simple balance and Metaslim (for our pony). I also ordered the brix.

We do not have a very good courier service and I would not want to rely on them to deliver correctly, and I do not have the strength to carry lots of boxes up to our stables!! I like that SS have their own delivery vans which are - hopefully - more reliable.

Thanks all.

I used to for many years but now have found its much cheaper to use grass nuts and grass chaff from either emerald green or graze on
