Does anyone have 101 schooling exercises book?

I have it and it's brilliant! During the winter when I'm stuck in the school during the week it was invaluable to give me more ideas and exercises so neither myself or my horse got bored or stale. Good idea for a present! I think they also do a jumping one if you wanted to get the set!

I have it - I haven't read it yet as it's for my summer reading lis and only got it a couple of weeks ago, but I've flicked through it. It has 9 chapters with black and white photos and dressage diagrams. It has some really useful tips on each page too. It's broken down into things like - How do I ride this exercise, why are we doing it, what should happen, double check, moving on and what can go wrong.
Sections include:-
1. Rhythm, balance and impulsion
2. Circles and turns
3. Serpentine exercises
4. Leg Yield
5. Shoulder-fore and shoulder-in
6. Travers and renvers
7. Half pass
8. Counter canter
9. Flying changes
There are also several big names with their celebrity exercises and tips
I also like the riders problem solver - each page is number coded to a set of problems so you can see how they are linked.
Apart from that I can't really say much else.....

I also have the jumping one too

I've got it as well and use it a lot for coming up with new ideas for schooling sessions. I like the fact that it lists exercises for specific problems i.e. improving balance, getting horse off the forehand etc.

I think it's really good, especially the way exercises are broken down into sections that you can work on like suppleness/lightening the forehand/lengthening strides etc.

Shysmum - I only have a field to ride in, no school for me. I don't even have markers! I use different tufts of grass or dandelions as markers!!

Thankyou everyone for your replies, order put in with OH xx
