I have a lovely Kieffer saddle and wanted to get a nice bridle to match (current one cost £18 so not exactly nice!) i found the bridle i want in a local tack shop but was surprised but the quality. The leather didnt feel that good.... not really any better than my £18 job. and the finish was not the best. Was this a one off or are all there bridles like this? and do they soften up over time?

I should say that was a one off as both the Kieffer bridles I have, have been uber soft since day one!

I'd shop around and look at another place that stocks them as this does not sound like Kieffers usual quality

All mine are kieffers. Lovely and soft from day one and you can interchange from one to another ie. nosebands, reins etc. I always have the buckle billets ones and they are super quality.

Cost about £120 with reins

I had a look at loads of different makes before buying my Kieffer Ergonomic and i was really impressed with it. The leather is really soft and the bridle is very well made.
