I was wondering what you think of it, and how easy they are to adjust?

Is there a limit of sizes you can go up or down, ie without weakening the tree?

Are the comfortable to ride in?

Thanks!

I have one, but I don't find it that comfy. Its ok, but when I ride my other horse, who doesn't have one, I really notice the difference.
The saddle co fitters can change the shape in about 15mins.
I don't think they like going narrower/wider than 1 width.

Relatively easy to change the width up and down.. my cob goes well in hers.. i do find the seat hard but i find nearly all seats hard so i just pop a seatsaver on mine.

I have one and I love it. I've ridden in the GP, close contact, WH and currently have an event one. The GP I found a bit hard, the WH was comfy, the close contact was great for jumping but very slidy and I LOVE the event one - not hard at all and sits you in the right position). I would definately recommend the suede seat and knees (the close contact would have been OK if it had had that which it didn't). They can only be adjusted by a saddle co fitter and it takes just a few minutes. The idea is that you get the size that fits your Horse at the time of sale and should he/she change shape it can be adjusted with them. They can be adjusted in minute amounts and it doesn't weaken the tree (which is guaranteed for 10 years anyway). They cost the same made to measure as they do off the peg anyway.
I love them. They are lightweight, the serge moulds to the Horse and the leather is fantastic quality...hardly ever needs cleaning!

my cob has one...Cob full leather..round cantle..

i love mine....

i have to say that it is definitely the fitter who actually "make" these saddles work to their full potential.

I used to have the verona too. It was really light and comfy and looked smart. Apparently they only go one width either way though and although they are easy enough to change, getting someone out to do it was almost impossible! If you want one, check you have a fitter nearby!

I have one for both my exracers and have had such a successful time with them that 4 of my friends have now bought them!

I have the Verona GP on my mare, its like riding in an armchair, I feel very secure and it puts me in the right position. I can hack out for hours in it.

My gelding has a straighter cut VSD with suede seat and knee rolls, its fab too, very deep seated and secure.

The adjustment is almost infinate - both of mine were a wide/extra wide when I bought them second hand but have been narrowed to fit my 2 narrow Tb's easily, whereas my friends Highland has one that was on a narrow setting originally. They can be adjusted to the millimetre to get a good fit.

My gelding has had 6 saddles before this one, none of which fitted for any longer than a few months (he is now 5 and grown a lot) and a couple of which - Wintec adjustables - made him lame by pinching his shoulders, even though they had been 'professionally' fitted. Since getting his Saddle Co he has been loads better and the saddle has grown with him. The fit is exceptional and he clearly is happy with it.

My mare has discovered how to work through her back since getting hers, her old saddle was a good fit however she is much looser and happier in the Saddle Co.

I am currently saving to get a dressage saddle and event saddle for them to share too!
