Im hoping someone can help me.
I bought a horse a month ago with the above passport. sent off 3 weeks ago, to a place in Yorkshire. Cheque has been cashed, but still havent received passport back.

Tried searching on the internet, and it seems theyve had their passport rights revoked by depfa!!and theres no contact numbers listed. (apart from one that disconected)

If anyone has a passport theres a mobile number at the back, which would be great (should have written it down)

the annoying thing is it was only £5 for the update - which is hardly worth ripping people off for considering the inconvenience of it all.

Alternatively ive been advised to get a new passport which is

a painas the original one had all the logged details.

many thanks in advance for reading, and passing on the number if you have it

I bought a horse that had one of these, and I phoned up DEFRA when I sold him and they told me the name of the society that had taken over all the passports. The guy at DEFRA new immediatly what I was talking about.

The passport I had though had been issued in Essex, and that was their address at the time - so not sure where the yorkshire address would have come from as they haven't been a PIO for at least a year.

I have another name and telephone number on my passport.

A Southgate

Let us know how you get on, my passport should be changed as my spotty is no longer a stallion

Don't send it back to them, phone DEFRA and find out the name of the society now doing it.

THanks but they only deal with them if the horse / pony is spotted. For some reason my fully feathered cob has one of these passports and doesnt have any spots, so they cant help.

thanks anyway
