I just wondered if anyone has Fieldguard mats in their stable and whether they are pleased with them.
I have been looking at the options and they seem quite good but there is so much choice im not sure which to get.
Any ideas?

Yes - they are fabulous! I have the M2 mats and have had them for 10 years with no sign of wear. They are more springy than a lot of the cheaper mats I have seen and drain well.

Well - depends what you WANT!

I have got M3 mats in some stables, M4 in some stables and M8 in one BIG box. This is my opinion.

M3 - very warm and comfy, very light - slightly more expensive. PITA to cut to size!
M4 - not QUITE as warm and comfy but more than adequate (and more so than normal rubber mats.) Very light, much easier to cut than M3, do spread a bit so you may have to trim them a bit after 12 months.
M8 - are GREAT! Very cheap, very warm and comfortable, good underneath drainage. Are heavier - but as mats are 4x3 that isn't a major problem. Don't lift or shift - even with a couple of colts charging around on them!

If I was starting again from scratch I'd probably go for M8 for comfort WITH economy!
