Do they give/wear in easily? I've just bought a pair and am wearing them round the house, but they feel really uncomfortable around the top of my foot.

Will it get better or should I box them up and take them back????

Mine were comfortable and warm but the zip broke after 6months. I have ariat grassmere's now and they are the bees knees :)

I tried a pair of them on in Robinsons but found the back of the boots really dug into my leg, just above my heel and were just to uncomfortable to consider purchasing them. I bought a pair of Toggi boots instead because they didn't hurt and they've been great. Dry and warm!

I know a couple of the girls on the yard have them and they have said that they soften over time so maybe yours will become better eventually.

My daughter adores hers - she's on her 3rd or 4th pair.

But I would hesitate to buy them for an adult. Every single pair we've had has broken before it grown out of - which for a child is going some, even if they are worn every day, soaked in mud and generally abused.

They may last longer if you take care of them but there have been lots of posts about the zip breaking - I think every single pair as broken the zip shank - but you can replace it with a split ring which actually makes them easier to zip up! We also find the inside pad stiching comes loose and they can crack at the toe area (always wear waterproof socks - leaks no problem!)

But that said my daughter adores them and will wear little else. They do last almost long enough for her to grow out of the anyway so I'm happy to keep buying as long as that is the case. But where her growth slows we'll definited be looking for something a bit more durable. (I swear by my grassmeres!)
