Sorry I'm using mine.
But in fact it is not exactly like that. Mine is a saddle cloth shape (although called a numnah by Prolite) and doesn't have 'bits' on it. It works by dispersing the pressure all over. I got it in April/May of this year.
Hope this helps.

Yeah...been on e-bay and all the ones there are with 'no bits'...ie a a numnah or saddle cloth with a full prolite pad integrated.

Might have to get one of those, but I just fancied one with 'bits' as I thought it less likely to alter the fit of the saddle.....

Pearlsasinger.....do you like yours? was it worth the dosh?

No but I have got somewhere a really old prolite pad which is not used and you are welcome to. I will have to dig it out and photograph it for you. Its not as snazzy as one in the pic there though!

I'm so glad to hear that they have been discontinued! If a horse has pressure points where the pads are on that type of numnah then your saddle is bridging and does not fit!!

It is no way to fix a bridge (where the saddle is not sitting on the horse in the middle of the tree) by raising the middle of the tree even further away from his back.

Please think again about whether your problem will be solved with the "sticking plaster" you are looking for.

I dont have a problem....my saddle fits well and doesnt bridge.

My horse has high withers, is a bit bony and is a veteran - I was looking for something to give a bit of padding/comfort without altering the fit of the saddle.

I dont like big thick saddle cloths or sheepsking half-pads on top of saddle cloths.

I've just seen that you've had an offer of a pad so you probably don't need to know this now.
It certainly was. At the time I knew my saddle needed reflocking, it was a bit lumpy on the underside, and I was waiting for the saddler to recover from a hand op. It made the difference between being able to ride and having to leave the horse getting less and less fit in the field. Since then I've had a Saddle Co. saddle with a serge lining refitted to fit this horse and although there is no problem with it AT ALL , the saddler recommended using the Prolite pad under it, just for extra comfort.

I will take a pic as it may not be at all what you want, although I used it on my mare who was very prone to a sore back and was bony so it might do.
The lab puppy emptied the horse cupboard the other day and ate lots of things, I just threw everything back in...will go hunt.

Edited to add is only a half pad, do you not like those?

If your saddle fits well and doesn't bridge it certainly won't fit and will bridge once you've put on a numnah that raises the front and back away from the middle like the one you are looking for will do.

Try a very thin pad like a geleze which is the same thickness all over, very shock absorbent but won't alter the fit of your saddle.

That numnah has not been discontinued for no reason, it's not a sensible solution to any saddle fitting problem.
