...their horse/pony tracked? You can now get a "tracking" device that is inserted into your horse so if it is stolen then you can try to recover it. The only trouble is you have to have a rough idea what area the horse is in when stolen, you cant just not have a clue where in england.

Mainly racehorses have them but anyone here had any experience with them?

i dont know!! thats why i wondered if anyone here knows about it or has it for their horses... i thinkit must be a bit like the one that you can get for dogs. that goes in their neck i think?

no, sounds like a good idea though

yes deffinately, i just spoke to my mum about it and she said she will find out about it properly. she thinks it is expensive, like about 800 ish but for expensive horses it would be worth it.

There is a prototype of this type of device, but its not on the market yet.

It can text you when you horse leaves the field boundry, does not move typically etc via GPS.

I think its called radol or radiol or something.

Horse wears it as a collar.

Oh ok. But surely the collar could be removed if someone wanted to steel the horse? The one im thinking of is where the "tag" or whatever it is, is actually inside the horse.
