Does anyone keep their horses on probiotics as part of an everyday suppliment ?

yes, ex racer tb. although he is currently having blacksalt from global herbs ass he is prone to gassy colic and being an ar*e when first getting on and since this he has much improved and droppings are firmer (3wks into trial now) works out so cheap too 6.50 1kg for a tub and he has 2g per day!

After reading a recent article I am just wondering if it may help my mares constant hay belly.

My vet and everyone else tells me to live with it because she had so many foals previous to me owning her and it may never go away. The article makes me think I can be rid of it if I better aid her long term in her digestion. Although it is mainly an aesthetic problem I have to admit it really bothers me.

Just started my boy yesterday on a trial of Dengie's Natural Vitality Digestive Health Plus which is a probiotic to see if it helps with his sloppy poos! Too early yet to say whether it is doing any good but if it does improve things I will keep him on it. :)
