My mare has been slightly not right for several weeks, today she went to Leahurst for lameness workups.
The ground was quite frozen and she showed up slightly lame on both front legs. we left her there for some x-rays.
The vet rang me tonight to say they had shown up a few minor issues, one being that she has entheseophytes at the collateral ligamants insertion on her navicular!
She is going back later on this week to be shod by their farrier, heart bars, and probably a heel wedge.
The vet thinks its not too bad as she is only very mildly lame.
I just wondered if anyone knew anything about this diagnosis??
Thanks
