Does anyone know anything about horses with the breeding prefix Granby

Hi all,

I already have a pony with the breeding prefix Granby, however I am trying to find another, or just some more information on who bred him. Anything is much appreciated.

Granby? There used to be an anglo arab racehorse called Granby Ironstone, I wonder if that is any connection? Does your pony have any arab in him?

You could try asking on Arabian Lines.

"Granby Stud was near Shipton on Stour,owned by The Mathias family. The Arab stallions Halma and his son Jabula stood there. I'm sure there were lots of horses with the Granby prefix."

There you are, someone on AL did know, I knew they would.

My pony is 3/4's Arab and loves to jump!!
