As post title, damek has one and it will be getting done when he gets the snip, but is there anything I should look out for or be doing in the mean time
Thanks for looking
My Jack Russel had one when we got her as a pup, it didnt cause a problem but did start to get bigger when she was about 4. We had it removed, it was a simple op, we took her in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon, cost about £60 (athough that was a few years ago) and that was that!
my staffie had one, her mum struggled to get her umbilical cord off and ended up chewing one of hers toes!!!
vet said nothing to worry about but if she gets extreme diahreoh or sickness to bring her straight in as it may be twisting?? or something along them lines!
had it removed when she was old enough to have her toe removed, as she was going to have a op anyway, think she was about 6 months old, but didnt cause any trouble!!
