Does Anyone Know / Have Pictures of.....

Hi there is a picture of Saracen Hill in the NI Horse Board website NI Horse board . I know the names of the other two probably from the local press. Have a look at the Irish Horse Board under their approved stallions for further info.

I was hoping to go & see Saracen Hill, but haven't had the chance yet; I did contact his owner though, & somewhere I have a sort of informal conformation shot that he sent me, though I suspect it doesn't do the horse full justice. If I can find it in the next few days I'll post it on here. His owner is a really nice guy- his contact no. is on the link given previously.

Saracen Hill looks to be a really big-boned, strong sort of TB; a big, classy horse. He has an unusual head & neck carriage (IMO) for a TB; his neck is high-set like a warmblood, but he has the TB's laid-back shoulder. To the right mares he could def. produce something good.

I caught a glimpse of his grandad (?) Big Spruce on a racing video on U-Tube; he had the self same head carriage. It was only a glimpse though; he was soon out of shot as he came last. Mind you, the winner was Secretariat....

Saracen Hill has eventing / NH / jumping credentials based on his own abilities & those of his relatives; he has a son out eventing; a half-bred coloured stallion (Glen.... Glenhill Gold?); someone on this forum has a foal by him.
