Does anyone know of a friendly yard near Heckfield?

I am helping a friend who is moving to the area find a place for her pony. She's looking for a stable and grazing and help on a daily basis as she has a young family and runs her own business. She would like all year turnout and access to good hacking. Thanks.

Depends how much she wants to spend. There's a yard up New Mill Lane right by the ford that, I think, does year-round turnout - and another one immediately on the other side of the ford . . . both have fab hacking (Bramshill Forest). Not sure of names - but your friend could certainly show up/visit and I do know people with horses at both yards so could your friend in touch.

Further up New Mill Lane and down Ford Lane (on the left as you're heading away from the New Mill) is Bulloways Farm (it's on the right) - I know they have year-round turnout and hacking is good (very short distance to Bramshill Forest).
