OK - this sounds like the world stupidest question - but I have been racking my obviously small brain....

I brought a couple of these corner mangers

http://www.derbyhouse.co.uk/prodshow.asp?id=1431&cat=6&scats=119,38

and the brackets that go with them. So me thinks it should be simple case of screwing the bracket to the wall and drop the manger into it. Unfortunately doesn't seem to work quite like that..... The lip of the bucket over hangs the bracket, so when the bracket is screwed up against the wall it means that the bucket cannot go down into the bracket.

Has anyone else had these and managed to fit them???? I have two of these which are currently being used to keep "stuff" in, and would really like to be able to use them as they were intended for!!!

Any tips for my stupid question of how to fit these obviously easy to fit mangers....

I think most people attach the manager to some bits of wood and attach the wood to the wall - that will give you the clearance then....

Yep, you need to screw wood to the stable wall, then screw the bracket on the wood. I had one of these in my stable and did it myself

I've just taken it down as i've put a haybar there instead, I could post you the 2 bits of wood if you like

Thanks - I had thought of that - but it looked as though the lip of the bucket was covering the holes in the bracket. Will give it a go this weekend though!

Thanks for your help!
