they normally say 7 days however, my vets have mentioned in the past that it can be gone in 3!

I guess depending on your horse between 5 & 7 days - my vet insists that they have 5 days off the bute before they come through for investigation. Not sure about a blood sample though - it might be possible to detect them for longer.

I have always understood that it's 6 weeks before it's undetectable in a blood sample.

Don't know where I got that from though!
