my friend's mare has just completed in her first adv event
and she is a stunning 15.1hh coloured mare, when asked who she is by, she was told by the stud she came from that she is by a 14.2 hh irish type mare and mr tod who is by this stallion.
they sent a photo of mr tod and he is stunning.
interestingly zhivargo has NF pony in him??

I dont think that pedigree can be right- it says out of an ID type mare and I could be wrong but I dont *think* newfies can be coloured and tbs certainly cant

I know the lovely lady who still owns Zhivago. He is now quite elderly. Can check on his breeding if required, but am sure there is no NF

I think you are looking at two different horses. One is definitely a tb x new forest!

The Zhivago that is the sire of Mr Todd, has NO NF in him - he's immense in stature and is IDxTB. He is by the Our Babu stallion Top Hat (TB) and out of Jenny an ID (coloured) This is him!

I have his stud card around somewhere - Ravenwood and I went to see him in Jan this year and I nearly sent B to him, but for various reasons didn't in the end....... I looked at him again in the past few week, but noticed that the contact info has gone from the advert........ he was getting on, mid 20's,.......
