Does anyone know/keep their horses at Park View Farm at Cawood (near Selby) in North Yorkshire? They have space if I want to move there but would be good to know what it's like. The advert on horsequest says that there is 'opportunity to train horse and rider in natural horsemanship techniques' and that they take on 'problem' horses presumably to fix using NH methods... She made a specific point of saying that they use NH methods and that she 'hoped I did too' - which makes me a little nervous...! I don't mind what anyone else does with their horses but don't want to be lectured at about how I ride/care for mine

That said the facilities sound very nice - rubber matting, hay bars, infra red lights for drying etc...

Thoughts anyone?!

I rang them and was told the same as you , they made it quite clear if they did not like your ways they would tell you !
We are are now at East Farm where it is friendly and the hacking is quite good , which is what i wanted more than some of the fancy things they had there . Plus they where over priced , Mill lane is very good go visit them in Brayton Selby

Hi thanks...
We went to see it yesterday and I actually thought it was nice; quite small and friendly and when I asked about the NH is seems like she's mainly concerned that the horses get enough turnout which is fine with me anyway.
Surprised you think it's overpriced, I actually thought £25 pw DIY was pretty reasonable. I think Selby is just that bit too far away for me, Cawood is just about doable but I wouldn't want to go any further I don't think. thanks for the suggestions tho
