Some good sun/fly protection chaps for turnout?
One of my horses has an allergy to a weed (we CANNOT find which one) which makes him go photosensitive. As he has 4 socks and a stripe this is obviously a pain in the backside, for him and me!
Its coming up to that time of year where he will start to blister. I made a cover for his nose that works very well, and last year I had the Equilibrium sun chaps - however, they weren't very good
They looked like a good fit when I put them on, but they fell down and ripped/split. There are warnings all over them to not 'overtighten,' but in order to have them tight enough to stay on the horse can't move in them without the fabric splitting around the pastern/fetlock.
Design fault I think.
So are there any other sun protection boots that anyone knows of? I'm not having much luck.
