where to get rugs washed and proofed in the Warwickshire area? Around Stratford/Leamington/Warwick if possible.

Just had a good clear out and found lots that need doing!!

Thought Countrywide, but they were very expensive last time, and took a long time to come back!

Even if someone knows somewhere I could send them to, it would be a help, thanks!

Take them to your local launderette and put a bottle of Nikwax reproofer in. I did all mine this way last year, worked out about £5 a rug and none of them leaked over winter so it must have worked.

Just make sure no one is looking when you put them in the machine

Good idea!!!! Do you think I'd look out of place in a trilby and a long coat!!!

I did try one launderette a few years ago but......caught...and outed rather fast!!!

have to try a different one this time!!
