any good reliable horse transporters near newcastle/ gateshead or would anyone be willing to give my boys a lift to their new home?

try Youngs. not sure of the number, will try and get it. James Jefferson moved my boy, and he got the the job done, although i very much doubt he has a liscence or anything!

try Gillies they brough my last horse from surry to yorkshire , they maily move racehorses so have big air conditioned waggons going up and down the country all the time.

They even brought his colthes up with him too, very professional very well organised.

I have used James Jefferson before- lovely box and great service. Would be v surprised if he wasn't licenced, saw him transporting ponies on tv on that kids stable programme.
