Does anyone mix Glucosamine & chondroitin separately to make there own

Vet recommended Synequin and I use this now. It really works.

unless you are a qualified chemist and have very precise scales, how are you going to know what quantities are correct to mix together, you could be wasting money and effort because your mix might not be effective.
