Does anyone own a TB by Carrol House or out of Buckskin's Babe?

I've worked with Carrol House horses and they are lovely, genuine and willing to work for you. Sometimes not the boldest of jumpers if they make a mistake but so long as everything is going well they fly.
 
I'm guessing your lad is the 12yo by Carrol House out of Bucksikns Babe. He sold for 11.5k as a 4yo but never raced. He has a year older brother by Denel called Ochlons Debut who Point To Pointed and Rules Raced not overly well. I will see if I can find some pics of him. You horse also has a 7yo brother by Hubbly Bubbly who again didn't race so I wouldn't be able to find any pics of him.

haha.. that's exactly what he's like.. he'd rather not jum at all if it was up to him..

Yep he's the one.. I'd seen most of the info you have just given me but couldn't see the ammount he was sold for or where he was sold.. I have no history on him until 2006 which is in his 'pet-id' passport.
 
11.5k in November 2003 at the Tattersalls sales in Ireland.

Carrol House was a much better PTP sire than rules horse but he does have some decent offspring in Role Along, Coole River, Sweet Diversion and Ballistraw. All high class chasers in their day. Most of his offspring are also chestnut lol
 
You would have to ask Whetherby's about who bred, sold and bought him.

Not sure on who bred him but he was consigned at the sales by Mr M. Cosgrave of Killeaney Stables in Ireland. Mr Cosgrave was a point to point trainer in Ireland. Your lad went to the sales unbroken so he was never tried as a racehorse in Ireland.
