Does anyone pro or anti support Giles's views on boosting fox numbers?

I have not voted for this as there would only be one reason that AE's would in my view be acceptable and that would be to boost numbers to increase and mantain a healthy fox population.

From what I understand Giles thinks that it is a good think for hunts to boost wildlife by planting trees and hedgerows and other conservation activities.

I voted NO because doin this means there are more foxes and other animals which means more suffering.

Hunts aren't banned from planting trees and doing other conservation work.

I'm not quite sure why hunts shouldn't do this.

Maybe the law should allow them to but only if they take reasonable steps to shoot all the animals in them as soon as possible.

I think it is a good thing. It doesn't just encourage foxes, its good for birds and other small mammals too.

But how can hunts claim to be against wildlife if they do things that encourage it?

I'd have thought they would be concreting over the countryside to remove all the animals from it.

Very true. More effective and efficient pest control would be accomplished with concrete.

Hunts don't claim they are against the countryside, they are after all, the guardians of the countryside. I think you're a serious wind up merchant!
