Does anyone recognise this make of saddle?

Hi, I have bought a monoflap event saddle which is really nicely made but has no makers mark on it at all. It has a serial number on it HP279RZ but nothing else. All studs are plain, only the stirrup bars have the BS 6635 number on. I'm guessing it's an older saddle but does anyone recognise the stitching please.

Yes I did think that too, I didn't live far from High Wycombe, but it's very neat if someone has put their own postcode on

I have my saddles marked with my postcode - round here the Police will do it for you!

OK so maybe not a serial number, just a post code. Someone in HP27 might recognise it. Any idea who made it?

I bought a set of letters - I mark all my tack.
Saddles I do on underside of flap.

Makes it much easier yo be identified/tracked to you if stolen and recovered

With no nail head of plaque, in your experience, it could be absolutely anything. Small workshops copy other brands so even if it looks like a better known brand, if the brand normally make their own saddles with branding on its very unlikely this would be theirs.
