As above, I'd like to go see someone cause my back muscles feel quite tight and as someone once said to me 'there's no point having the horses back done if you don't get yours done too'

I'm sure I don't sit as straight and square as I could and although clearly a fitness/strength thing it'd be nice to just have a once over by a physio too.

Would be willing to travel to someone good but don't want to pay a fortune.

i go to a chiro and a sports physio as ive found thats what works for me

i see the chiro every 8 weeks and the physio every 3 months and find they complement each other in keeping my back mobile

im in the west midlands , chiro in walsall and physio in sutton coldfield , both around £34 but i do have health cover through work so can claim back a % of the costs

I just see my most local chiro & physio (more or less the shop below us in fact!), both are very good. I see the chiro as/when I feel necessary now & have only seen the physio once - he basically said he should only need to see me the once unless something changes or the problem does not improve, I see chiro for 'general aches' as I get stiff in one side of my neck & lower back from sitting crooked to draw. He does acupuncture too which works well for me. Both £30 for round about 20-30min appointments & have helped enormously.

I see sports massage person - have tried osteopath and chiropractor but found sports massage the most helpful - it is like an hour with edward scissorhands - it hurts like hell - but it really does help me! Place I go to is Stafford - its about £35/hr.

I have a friend who is a human physio and also an acpat veterinary physio. She treats both me and my horses. It works really well. She is based in Droitwich just off the M5. I would highly recommend some one who can look at you and the horse!
