I do! but having problems as the generator seems to only work for two/three days then dies.....it is meant to have a running time of 9 hours not three!!! It is brand new, don't know wether to call the maufatcurer incase it is dodgy???
Does anyone else use one and do you find it temperamental??? when it is working it is fantastic though!!!

We do and its fab, but it is a big capacity one... 5kw/6.2kva which powers 7 double tubed fluroescent lights. Fluroescent lights take a lot of powering up... much more than normal bulbs. Also if you're trying to power anything with a heating element e.g. a kettle - anything like that is very power hungry.

We used to have a much smaller one, more like 2.5kw, and that struggled with just the lights on.

The more you try to run the more petrol you will use... so if you are near to overloading it that might explain why it's not lasting that long. Over loading is also incredibly bad for the engine so try to avoid if possible
