My horse is feeling something in his shoulder and likes it when I massage with fingers, not on bone but the muscle above it, I can't afford an equissage unit, but does anyone use a human one?
He has the equillibrium back massage unit. Would a human one work, does any one use something they can recommend?

I bought a cheap infra red massager from Aldi for £8, drives the youngster bannanas with pleasure. He even grabs stuff with his teeth if it all gets too much and if I just use it on him while he's loose in the box he just 'presents' whichever part he requires doing!

Certainly I don't think it does any harm and he seemed to go better afterwards, I read somewhere you should massage before exercise not afterwards.
